is a pair of pants that were once tight but now every time you bend over you have to pull them back up over your ass.
eating healthy has finally become a habit for me. i haven’t had take out in forever now, the last soda i drank i ended up sharing with my mom (otherwise known as taking a sip and just handing it back to her) when i took her out for mother’s day. i don’t crave junk. which is an added bonus in my opinion. when i go grocery shopping my basket is filled with mostly fruits and veggies. i don’t need to count calories any more because i’m more aware of whats going into my body, that was a pain in the ass. i make time to work out every day rather than having to find the motivation to get up and do so. im seeing improvements each day and people have started noticing them to.
so to each and everyone one of my followers, please, don’t give up. its hard and it sucks at first, but after a while, it really does get easier and the effort is worth the time and energy you put into it. so keep going..make yourselves proud.

i love my mac and cheese recipe..i even lightened it up by using light cheddar..i wanted to use whole grain noodles but steve came home with regular because they were on sale..which is okay..but next time that’s what i’ll do. i ended up cooking him that (his favorite dish) because he got a bad review at work because one of the managers whose not gonna be there much longer hated him. i don’t know what that really has to do with job performance…but lets all keep good thoughts and hope that his meeting will go well..he’s worked very hard to get this far and i’m proud no matter what he decides to do..i’m not worried about him quitting..because steve has this wonderful gift of walking into a building and walking out with a job no matter where he goes..but even still its a bit stressing. so, happy thoughts everyone! thank you.
looks like it’ll be another pretty day out today..might call my gramma to see if she’d like to go walking today..she’s doing well, she’s lost a lot of weight which is amazing for her because she’s always been very hefty while i was growing up. she’s now under 200..187 to be exact..though i swear she’s lost some of her height as well..my gramma is shrinking everywhere! now if only grampa could jump on board since he’s diabetic you’d think he’d want to try to improve his situation..but he’s a stubborn old man..
also the farmers’ market is open today..i might actually go and check it out since i haven’t been to this one since i moved here..you can’t really say no to fresh produce. i also might even go to a co-workers fish fry she’s throwing to raise money for her son’s football camp. i asked her if there was gonna be anything healthy i could eat and her menu seems to be encouraging. plus 7$ for a plate of food isn’t too shabby and i’ll be helping her son too. so, i think its a win-win.

i cleaned the house..which i’m gonna count as a workout in itself..i tried to do my workout but my foot started bothering me so i had to quit..i really hate this..i want to workout and i want to lose weight..ugh..fine..if it still bothers me by next week i’ll make a doctors appointment..i just have to wait til i get paid so i can cover the co-pay..this is driving me nuts..its a bit embarrassing because i know my weight is a factor in why my foot is hurting and i can’t lose weight if i can’t workout properly..argh! but i hope everyone is having a beautiful day..the sun has been out here in concord, nc and its just amazing since it hasn’t been too hot..and my plants are blooming..in a couple more weeks i may even start to see little tomatoes on my tomato plant..so, exciting =)

i ran around all day after coming home from work..we found steve a bed..which is kinda cool and for dragging me EVERY WHERE he bought me what-a-burger..thats right i even had a witchdoctor..even though i didn’t count it..i haven’t had soda in forever it seems..so i got a small burger and small fries..i didn’t want to completely over-do it which can happen if you’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at this burger joint. i also bought a cheap watering can so i can reach my ivy hanging plant..so it was actually kinda busy and i managed to walk around without much pain..so i think my foot is getting better, a couple more days of frozen-soup-can rolling should do the trick..i’ll try to keep everything low impact for a while and see how that works..
